Composition: in 1 tablet – Azithromycin 500mg.

 

Pharmacotherapeutic group: Broad-spectrum antibiotic, macrolide-azalide.

 

Indications:

 

• Upper respiratory tract infections (otitis media, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis)
• Lower respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, bacterial pneumonia and atypical pneumonia)
• Dental infection (periodontitis, parodontitis)
• Skin and soft tissue infections (acne, impetigo, folliculitis, furuncle, abscess, phlegmon, panaris, erysipelas, infected wounds)
• Urogenital infections (chlamydiosis, ureaplasmosis, urethritis, prostatitis, cervicitis, gonorrhea, syphilis)
• Stomach and duodenal ulcer (Haemophilus ducreyi – monotherapy or Helicobacter pylori – tritherapy).

 

Administration and dosage: According to a doctor prescription. For oral administration.

 

Standard dosage:

 

• Over 12 years old: 500mg (1 tab) once a day, 3-5 days
• 3-12 years old: 250mg (½ tab) once a day, 3-5 days.

 

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to azithromycin or any macrolide or excipients.

 

Packing: 3 tablets with dividing line in a blister. 1 blister (3 tablets) in a cardboard box along with a leaflet.
